About Me

Thanks for stopping by!

My name is Holly and I’m a 40-something lifelong Blue Mountains local. I love to explore and find new things to do in the mountains. I’m a passionate wildlife photographer, birds in particular, which you might have noticed from some of my posts! I currently have some of my images in an exhibition in Canberra, and am in the process of making some of my images available as prints, so if you like my images hit the subscribe and stay tuned!

This was actually my second site. I started my first, Globeblogging in 2018 as a way to share my adventures, photography and writing. Then when 2020 hit and international travel was suddenly off the cards, it became clear I needed to pivot. Fortunately for me I live in one of the best places in the world and both locals and visitors alike were interested in finding new things to do.

Feel free to hit me up with any questions you have about the mountains, I’m always open to new content ideas and would love to hear what you’re interested in reading about! I may be a little biased, but I think it’s a pretty special place!
